I was very lucky to have been interviewed by Nora Young for Spark, a CBC podcast about new technologies. This news is a bit late though because this was for the March 25th edition of the show, but nonetheless, I think it is good to document it here.

Robopocalypse - The Tip of the Spear

The man appears to be Professor Nicholas Wasserman, an American statistician. ---------------------------------------------------------------- The Tip Of The Spear is based on the first chapter of the book Robopocalypse by Daniel H. Wilson. It takes place in an underground research facility and features Nao 1337 playing an infinitely smart artificial intelligence that comes to life and discusses with its creator, the Professor Nicholas Wasserman, as played by Carlos Asmat. As the machine is born and evolves, it rapidly gains a profound understanding of it's position in the universe as it is guided by an unrelenting desire to learn.
